Norway Seafoods Corporate Management
Thomas H. Farstad (born 1971) was appointed CEO for Norway Seafoods in October 2010. From October 2010 until January 2012 he also held the positon as CEO at Aker Seafoods (now HAVFISK). Mr. Farstad has experience from the seafood industry since 2003, and prior to joining Norway Seafoods he was acting chief executive of Marine Harvest ASA, and was a member of its corporate management team since 2006. Earlier he has held positions at McKinsey & Company and Aker Maritime. Mr. Farstad holds an MBA from Insead in France and an MSc from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in the USA.
Anna Nord Bjercke (born 1972) was appointed CFO for Norway Seafoods in August 2013. Prior to this Mrs. Bjercke worked as Head of Lean Procurement in Statoil. From her 17 years with Statoil she brings with her experiences from several positions within the finance sector such as controlling, finance and business developing in Statoil Fuel & Retail including leadership in the Swedish, Scandinavian and European unit. Mrs. Bjercke has also held leadership positions within other areas in Statoil, amongst others as Head of Bioenergy. Mrs. Bjercke holds an MBA in Business Administration and Economics from Linköping University (Sweden) where a part of the education was conducted in France. Mrs. Bjercke is a Swedish citizen.
Kristian Bjerkvold (born 1986), Group Interim Director Production Norway, was appointed in to his current position in October 2016. Mr. Bjerkvold joined Norway Seafoods as Business Development Manager in 2015. Prior to joining Norway Seafoods, he worked as an Analyst at Converto Capital Management. Mr. Bjerkvold holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration from Copenhagen Business School. Mr. Bjerkvold is a Norwegian citizen.
